BAGERHAT: A Bagerhat court on Thursday awarded death penalty to four people, including three brothers, in sensational Susanta alias Kalachand killing case.
District Session Judge SM Solaiman passed the order in presence of the convicts.
The convicts are Subash Mollik, Sushen Mollik, Dipankar Mollik, sons of Bipin Mollik and Dilin Mondol son of Kalipad Mondol of Kharasombol area under sadar upazila.
The case statements reads: On February 2, 2004, convicts killed Susanta alias Kalachand over land dispute.
After the incident victim’s sister filed a murder case accusing the convicts.
