2 killed in Cox’s Bazar gunfight

COX’S BAZAR: At least two people were killed and 20 others, including police, received bullet hit in a fierce clash between two groups of terrorists at Rangikhali of Teknaf upazila of the district on Thursday.

The deceased are Syedul Amin, 35 and Shahjalal 25.

Sources said two terrorist groups led by Shafiq and Bhulaiya Boidya locked into clash over illegal Yaba business and supremacy from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, leaving two terrorists killed and 20 others, including police injured.

On information, police and Border Guard Bangladesh brought the situation under control.

The injured were admitted to local and Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital.
