Tejgaon police outpost torched

DHAKA: Miscreants set on fire at a police outpost in capital’s Tejgaon industrial area on Saturday night.

Sources said that two to three youths suddenly entered the police outpost at around 11:45pm and set on fire at the outpost pouring petrol.

Confirming the matter Tejgaon industrial police station Sub-Inspector Kamrul Islam told banglanews, “Police chased them but those miscreants fled the scene.”

On information, officers from Tejgaon fire service station rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. No casualty was reported from the fire.
