NAOGAON: Border Security Force (BSF) of India personnel abducted 12 Bangladeshi nationals from Hapania border area of Sapahar upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

Of the victims, eight are Jahurul Ali, Abdur Rahman, Ariful Haque, Ibrahim Ali, Muktar Hossain, Sana Ullah, Ranjit and Noren.

All of them are residents of Hapania.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Naogaon-46 Commanding Officer Anwar Hossain said abducted Bangladeshis were returning from India with cattle illegally.

On way, local police and BSF members arrested them and handed over to Indian Thana.
