DHAKA: Miscreants blasted seven cocktails in front of Jatiya Press Club and two cocktails in front of Abul Hotel of Malibagh area on Sunday afternoon.

Sources said four cocktails were blasted in front of Press Club from a BNP procession in the afternoon. Later, three more cocktails blasted in the same place.

In another incident pickets blasted two cocktails in front of Abul Hotel of Malibagh area in the afternoon.

Allude to the 60-hour nonstop nationwide hartal, called by the BNP-led 18-party alliance, began on Sunday morning amid stray incidents of violence.
