THAKURGAON: Three labourers have died and another three injured as a boiler explosion of a rice mill in Thakurgaon road area in the district Sadar on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Kafil Uddin, 45, Poshidul Islam, 45 and Samesh Chandra, all of them hailed from Pikepara village of Sadar Upazila.

Amongst the injured, three were admitted to Thakurgaon Modern Sadar Hospital.

Sources said the boiler of Salahuddin Husking Mill exploded, leaving three labourers of neighbouring Motin Husking Mill dead on the spot and three others injured critically.
    
Officer-in-Charge of Thakurgaon police staiton Firoz Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Following the incident, Thakurgaon district BNP relaxed the hartal in Thakurgaon Road area.

Information and Research Secretary of district BNP Mamun Ar Rashid confirmed it to banglanews.
