CHAPAINAWABGANJ: A youth was chopped to death and another injured in an attack by miscreants in Baliadanga area under Sadar Upazila of the district on Friday night.

The deceased was identified as Bhaguruddin, 40, son of Sahebjan.

Sources said that miscreants attacked and chopped the victim while he along with Sufal was returning home riding on a bicycle at around 09:00pm, leaving Bhaguruddin dead and Sufal critically injured on the spot.

Later, locals rushed the injured to local hospital.

Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Bozlar Rashid confirmed the matter to banglanews.
