DHAKA: The scheduled meeting between opposition Chairperson Khaleda Zia and Chinese Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Liu Zhenmin was cancelled due to inevitable reason.

BNP sources said that the pre-defined talk was set to be held on Saturday night at Khaleda’s residence.

Diplomatic sources confirmed that the visit of Chinese Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Liu Zhenmin who was scheduled to reach here on Saturday has been postponed ‘due to flight cancellation’ following heavy fog in Kunming.
