DHAKA: Law enforcers in special drives detained 162 people from various spots of the capital between Friday midnight and early Saturday.

Sources said that apprehending subversive activities the joint forces held those people from Tejgaon, Dhanmondi and Kolabagan areas.

Wishing anonymity an official of detective branch of police confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The people have been kept in detention at various police station of the city, he added.
