NETROKONA: Six men were jailed for life and 50 others were jailed for 3-year and Tk 5,000 fine each in a murder case in Netrokona.

The life-timers are- Mojibur Rahman, Ratan Mia, Saiful Islam, Shahjahan, Nur Mia and Jahangir.

Additional District and Session Judge Abdul Hamid passed the order at 11:30am Wednesday after about eight years of the murder.

Court source said that the accused people beat one Abul Kashem to death on May 25 in 2005 over a past feud.

Charge sheet was filed in the case on September 29.
