DHAKA: President Advocate Abdul Hamid returned to country after a three-day official visit to London on Thursday evening.

The president by a flight of Emirates Airlines landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:30pm, reports banglanews correspondent.

On Monday, the President went to London to attend the ninth World Islamic Economic Forum (WIFE) annual conference.

During his visit, President Abdul Hamid gave a special address at the opening ceremony of the WIEF at ExCeL London Convention Centre on October 29.

In his speech in the conference, the President called upon global business companies to work for making the market pro-people, expansion of technology.
 
The President also urged the companies from the Islamic world to step in for reducing their carbon foot print, inspired by true teachings of Islam, and set the path for rest of the world.
