FARIDPUR: Two persons were killed and four others injured in a road accident in Arkandi Bridge area under Madhukhai Upazila of the district on Friday morning.

The deceased were identified as Asit, 35 and Jalil, 25, hailed from Srirampur village of the district.
 
Sources said that the victims were going to Kanaipur of Faridpur on a Nasiman (local transport) and a truck rammed them at around 10:00am from behind, leaving two Nasiman passengers dead on the spot.

The injured were sent to Madhukhali Health Complex.

Madhukhali Thana Sub-Inspector Gias Uddin confirmed the matter banglanews.
