DHAKA: A fire broke out in some shops in Bawnia embankment area adjacent to C-Block of Section-11 at Mirpur in the city on Saturday afternoon.

The cause and origination of the fire could not be known immediately.

Mobilizing Officer of Fulbaria Fire Station Nilufer Yasmin told banglanews that five units of fire service are working to douse the blaze.
