DHAKA: Law enforcers submitted charge sheet against 29 leaders and activists of BNP-led 19-party alliance, including BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in a case file for anti-government activities.

Ramna Thana Police submitted the charge sheet to Justice Anwar Sadat Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on Thursday morning.

Earlier on Wednesday Detective Branch Officer Fajlur Rahman submitted charge sheet to Ramna Thana.

However, Mirza Fakhrul, Mirza Abbas, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Gayeswar Chandra Roy, Abdullah Al Noman, Amanullah Aman, Sultan Salauddin Tuku, Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anny and 21 others were charged for their alleged involvement in anti-government movement, vandalism, torching vehicles and creating violence during hartal days.

Earlier on March 2, 2013, a case was filed with Ramna Thana Police in this connection.

General Recording Officer (GRO) of the court Mahmudur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
