DHAKA: BNP could not stage their prescheduled rally at Institution of Engineers in city on Thursday due to obstruction police.

Law enforcers said BNP did not take their permission for holding the rally.

Meanwhile, BNP’s acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir protested the matter vehemently.

Senior leaders of the party also claimed that they would sit in the evening to take decisions about their needful actions protesting the matter and declare fresh programmes in this regard.
