PATUAKHALI: Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan on Sunday said persons who carried out vandalism, violence, torching and killing across the country in 2013 would be brought under trial.

The shipping minister came up with the forewarning while addressing a ceremony to lay down foundation stone of ‘Light House and Coast Radio Station’ in Panchupara area at Kuakata.

Indicating BNP and its allies, he said, “You can’t harm the country doing crime. Besides, Allah will not tolerate you if you create anarchy in the name of religion.”

The Light House and Coast Radio Station are being built under the GMDSS and Integrated Maritime Navigation System project to help fishermen immediately to return to the coast during night and disaster time.
