DHAKA: Two groups of Swechhasebak Dal locked into clash at the grave of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman in the city on Monday morning.

Sources said that on the occasion of founding anniversary of Swechhasebak Dal, leaders and activists of the organization led-by BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Swechhasebak Dal president Habib-un-Nabi Khan and General Secretary Mir Sharfat Ali Sapu went there around 11:00am to pay homage to the former president of the country.

At one stage, the units of Dhaka city south and north locked into an altercation which turned into scuffle.

Later, senior leaders control the situations and additional police forces were deployed in the area.
