DHAKA: Deputy Speaker M Fazle Rabbi termed Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia indecent for celebrating birthday on August 15.

He came up with the assertion in a discussion meeting at the parliament on Tuesday.

Contractors’ Welfare Association of Housing and Public Works organized the program marking the death anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He suggested Khaleda to avoid the impolite manners. “If she does so, the people will respect her,” he said.

President of the association Abu Dayer Mir presided over the program.
