DHAKA: Ruling Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif on Wednesday said BNP is not capable to realize their demand through movement. 

The AL leader made the observation while addressing a discussion marking National Mourning Day organized by Bangabandhu Krishibid Parishad in city’s Agriculturist Institute in the afternoon.

Hanif said the people of the country would not choose BNP in power as the incumbent AL-led government running the country so well that people will vote AL in assuming power in 2019 national elections.

Mentioning that a party should stay power for long to make the country developed, he said proper leadership and good governance is needed for the development.

He also demanded posthumous trial of former president Ziaur Rahman over Bangabandhu murder.

AL former organizing secretaries Abdul Mannan and AFM Bahauddin Nasim were among others present at the program.
