KHULNA: Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) in a night-long drive have detained 29 including five BNP-Shibir men from different parts of the area.

The lawenforcers conducted the drives from Saturday evening to Sunday morning in eight thanas of the metropolital area.

Sources said 24 arrestees were accused in several regular cases while five BNP-Shibir men were held on suspicion.

Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) speical branch Addisitonal Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Moniruzzaman Mithu confirmed the matter to banglanews at 10:30am Sunday.
