DHAKA: BNP started selling the nomination forms on Thursday (April 5) for the upcoming mayoral polls to Gazipur and Khulna city corporations.

Meanwhile, Gazipur district Jubo Dal unit Senior Vice Chairman Bashiruddin collected form on behalf of BNP executive member Hasan Udiin Sarker.   

BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi handed over the nomination form, at BNP central party office in Nayapaltan, around 11:15am.

BNP Publicity Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie and Assistant Office Secretary Taiful Islam Tipu were present there.

Aspirants can buy a nomination form by depositing Tk 35,000. The forms have to submit to the Nayapaltan office between 10:00am-5:00pm on Friday (April 6).

The nomination-seekers will be interviewed at the BNP chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, at 7:00pm Sunday (April 8).
