DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will be taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital on Sunday (June 10) for checking up her health condition, said Law Minister Anisul Huq.
The minister made the disclosure at a program at the secretariat.
“Her personal physicians talked about a ‘mild stroke’. It will be checked through conducting tests for Khaleda. She will be taken to BSMMU today,” said the minister.
On Saturday (June 9), Khaleda Zia’s personal physicians told reporters that she may have suffered a mild stroke in jail on June 5.
The physicians made the statement after visiting her at the Old Central Jail on Nazimuddin Road on the same day.
