DHAKA: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is supposed to join an iftar dinner hosted by BNP’s UK unit on Sunday (June 10), in participation of party’s Acting Chairperson Tarique Rahman.

Sources said that the iftar dinner will be held at The Royal Regency Hotel in High Street North of London.

UK BNP unit President MA Malek and Secretary General Koysor M Ahmed invited the party’s leaders and activists at the iftar, sources added.

Mirza Fakhrul flew to London from Australia on Friday (June 8).

Though several media outlets published reports saying meeting was held between Tarique and Fakhrul in London, but BNP has kept the matter under smokescreen.

BNP Assistant Office Secretary Taiful Islam Tipu told Banglanews that he doesn’t know whether Fakhrul has gone to London.
