DHAKA: BNP has started selling nomination forms among aspirants willing to contest in the upcoming Rajshahi, Barisal and Sylhet City Corporations elections with its tickets.

The sale of nomination forms started at 10:00am and continues till 4:00pm on Wednesday (June 20).

Current Sylhet mayor Ariful Huq Chowdhury bought the nomination at 10:30am. Later BNP organizing secretary Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu bought nomination form on behalf of Current Rajshahi mayor Mosaddique Hossain.

BNP senior joint secretary general and other senior party leaders handed over the forms to nomination seekers. 

BNP executive committee member Professor Aminul Islam told Banglanews that a total of 12 persons bought nomination forms up until 2:00pm. 

The nomination form price was set at Tk 10,000. Aspirants must fill up the form before submitting it on Thursday (June 20) with Tk 25,000 security deposit.
