DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary also Road Transport & Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said they will show no tenderness towards BNP while forming the election-time government.
“BNP hasn’t any scope to be included in the polls-time government, as per the constitution”, Quader thus blowing out the possibility of BNP’s inclusion in the interim government to oversee the upcoming national parliamentary polls.
Quader was addressing a press briefing at the Awami League President’s Political Office in Dhanmondi Friday morning (June 22).
“There’s no place of affinity in politics. Politics is the math of calculation. There is no scope of pitying, offering endearment and developing tenderness in the ‘math of calculation’,” he added.
He further said that BNP isn’t clear about their objectives and any discussion with them is useless.
Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Jahangir Kabir Nanok, and Office Secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap were among others attended the briefing.
