DHAKA: The relatives of convicted BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia met her in the old central jail in Nazimuddin road of old parts of Dhaka Saturday afternoon (June 30).

The family members include Khaleda Zia’s sister Selina Islam, wife of her brother Nasrin Sayeed, Tarique Rahman’s wife Zobaida Rahman’s elder sister Shahina Khan Jaman, Khaleda Zia’s nephew Masud and physician Dr Mamun.

They entered the jail around 4:30pm and stayed for around 1.15hours. 

However, Khaleda Zia was convicted in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case and sent to jail on February 8.
