DHAKA: Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal greeted Banglanews on occasion of the leading news-portal’s 8th anniversary on Sunday afternoon (July 1).

Kamal visited the Banglanews Office in East West Media Group Ltd (EWMGL) building in Bashundhara Residential Area of the capital city, to convey the greetings.

Banglanews Consultant Editor Jewel Mazhar welcomed him. Banglanews24.com is stepping into the ninth year of its journey on Sunday (July 01).

Earlier, Bashundhara Group and East West Media Group Ltd (EWMGL) managing director Sayem Sobhan Anvir celebrated the occasion by cutting anniversary cake at Banglanews office.

Social Welfare Minister also Bangladesh Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon, Kaler Kantho editor Imdadul Haq Milon, Daily Sun editor Enamul Huq Chowdhury, News24 executive director Hasnain Khorshed and News24, Radio Capital CEO and Bangladesh Pratidin editor Naem Nizam were also present at that time.

On Saturday evening (June 30), Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan inaugurated the celebration by cutting a cake and uncovering a special magazine.
