BRAHMANBARIA: Law Minister Anisul Huq said efforts are being made to create violent situations on quota reform issue even after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had given her clear words at Jatiya Sangsad.

The minister came up with the remark after inaugurating an academic building of Moniondo High School at Akhaura Upazila of Brahmanbaria on Friday (July 6).

He said, “Prime minister gave her words that quota system in public services will be reformed. She always keeps her promise. However, BNP-Jamaat, being politically bankrupt, is trying to create hassle out of the issue to hamper our country’s progress.”

Anisul Huq also urged quota reformists to have patience on government.
