RAJSHAHI: BNP mayoral candidate for Rajshahi City Corporation Mosaddek Hossain refrained from casting his vote alleging irregularities.

He remains seated alone dejected in front of Islamia College polling centre in city’s Binodpur area since 12:00 pm on Monday (July 30).

He told reporters, “There is no point in casting my vote where there is no democracy at all. I don’t even want to quarrel with anyone.”

"All polling stations are occupied by leaders and activists of Awami League. This the scenario of all polling stations in the city. Where would I go? Where would I protest? That’s why I’m sitting outside the center,” Bulbul also alleged.
