DHAKA: Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of the ruling party, announced its new committee Tuesday (July 31).

Md Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon and Golam Rabbani were named president and general secretary respectively.

Prime Minister also Awami League President Sheikh Hasina approved the committee Tuesday, nearly one and half months after the BCL conference. 

General Secretary of the party Obaidul Quader announced the committee. 

Besides, committees for BCL’s Dhaka University (DU), Dhaka Metropolitan North and South units also were declared.
