DHAKA:  Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader alleged that BNP-Jamaat is taking advantage of students’ logical movement for safe roads.

Obaidul Quader, also, general secretary of ruling Awami League made the remark at a joint meeting organized at Awami League’s central office in city’s Bangabandhu Avenue on Friday (August 3).

Obaidul Quader said, “BNP-Jamaat could not stage movement even for nine minutes over the last 9 years. They were not successful in quota reform movement as they tried to take advantage of it. Now they’re hatching conspiracy to channel a logical movement of students into an illogical direction.”

Obaidul Quader also said “We’ve accepted your 9-point demands. Now I urge students to remain calm for the sake of people, studies, and their future. I, therefore, seek cooperation from teachers, guardians, and managing committee to implement their logical demands in a peaceful way.”
