DHAKA: The 22nd session of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad will begin on September 9.
JS public relations office released an official order in this regard on Sunday afternoon (August 19).
‘The House will go into its session at 5:00pm on the day (Sunday),’ the release said.
Earlier at 4:00pm, the working advisory committee of parliament will fix the schedule of the session.
President M Abdul Hamid has summoned the session exercising the power bestowed upon him by Article 72 (1) of the Constitution.
The 22nd session will be the last JS session of the current AL government. The 10th parliament will complete its five years on January 28 next year. According to constitution, the parliamentary election must be held within last 90 days.
