“History teaches us that tyrannical government get established if any party earns majority, singly, in the polls,” he added.
Prof AQM Badruddozza Chowdhury, Bangladesh’s former president, was addressing a function of exchanging greetings with his party leaders and activists, on occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, at the party headquarters in Kuril of the capital city Thursday (August 23).
“Law enforcers including RAB and police are scorned for various activities. But, political leaders, MPs and cabinet members are responsible for these, in fact. Because, they compel the forces to carry out non-democratic activities,” he added.
Bikalpa Dhara Secretary General Maj (retd) Abdul Mannan, central leaders Engr Md Yusuf, Mahbub Ali and Shah Ahmmed Badol, among others, addressed the function.
