India need 145 runs to win second Test against Bangladesh

Indian bowlers bowled well on day 3 as they bowled out hosts Bangladesh for 231 runs. With this, Bangladesh have set a target of 145 runs for India to chase down and win this match with more than 6 sessions remaining.

Continuing on 195/7 after Tea, Litton Das and Taskin Ahmed frustrated India with their partnership of 60 runs in 76 balls for the 8th wicket. Mohammed Siraj broke the partnership as he dismissed Litton Das, who got out after scoring 73 valuable runs.

In the next over, Ravichandran Ashwin struck with his 2nd wicket as he dismissed Taijul Islam (1). Khaled Ahmed (4) was the last wicket as he was dismissed via a run out inflicted by a quick Axar Patel.

India now need 145  runs to win the 2nd Test and complete a 2-0 clean sweep in the 2-match series. Bangladesh on the other hand would hope to bowl out the Indians and level the series.

Brief Score:

IND – 314/10

BAN – 227/10 & 231/10
