Bangladesh clinched the series victory over Ireland after beating them by 10 wickets in the 3rd and final ODI at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Thursday (March 23).
The host restricted Ireland to 101 for all wickets after the visitors won the toss and opted to bat first.
They lost all wickets to score 101 runs in 28.1 overs. Lorcan Tucker scored 28 of 31 balls and Curtis Campher 36 of 48 balls.
Hasan Mahmud became the 13th Bangladesh bowler to pick up a five-wicket haul in ODIs as he finished with figures of five wickets for 32 runs. He has been adjudged Player of the Match.
Besides, Taskin scalped three giving away 26 runs from his ten overs. Ebadot conceded 29 for his two wickets.
Chasing the target, Bangladesh scored 102 runs in 13.1 overs. Litton Das got fifty (50) not out off 38 balls and Tamim Iqbal (c) scored 41 runs not out off 41 runs.
Earlier, the Tigers re-wrote history by posting their highest ODI total as they won the first match while the second ODI was unfortunately washed out by rain.
