It took premier league champions Bashundhara Kings Tk13.25 lakhs or 1.325 million to get goalkeeper Mohammad Asif during the auction of Bangladesh Football Federation Elite Academy players in the capital Saturday.

Earlier, the 10 players have been divided into two categories – six in category A and four in category B.

The minimum or base price for each player in the first category was Tk 5 lakh while for the second category the amount was Tk 4 lakh. 

BFF president Kazi M Salahuddin, two vice presidents Kazi Nabil Ahmed MP and Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan Manik, among others, were present at the day's auction ceremony.
