New Zealand captain Lockie Ferguson are facing Bangladesh bowlers as they chose to bat first after winning the toss in the second ODI of the three-match series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur today (September 23).
New Zealand have already lost three top-order batsmen to score 70 in 14 overs.
Till filing the report, Mustafizur Rahman bagged two wickets - Finn Allen and Will Young - while Khaled Ahmed took the wicket of Chad Bowes.
Earlier, the first game between the two sides was washed out due to heavy rain before Bangladesh bowlers had New Zealand reduced to 136-5 in 33.4 overs with pacer Mustafizur Rahman wrecking the havoc.
The visitors fielded an unchanged side from the first game which was washed out due to heavy rain.
However, Bangladesh made two changes. Pace bowler Syed Khaled Ahmed made a debut and Hasan Mahmud returned to the side after playing his last game against Sri Lanka in Asia Cup.
They replaced wicket-keeper batter Nurul Hasan and pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
