Tim Southee playing his first match of the world cup took 2wickets for 77 runs. 

New Zealand in response could not repeat their heroics that they did against hot ran chase against Australia the other day at Dharamshala. Wickets kept tumbling at regular interval from the moment free scoring Devon Conway (2) and Rachine Ravindra (9) were sent back cheaply. Black caps were reduced to 7/109 by the 26th over.
