Bangladesh women's team got the champions trophy and individual medals after ten about days of South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-19 Women's Championship 2024 at the BFF premises on Sunday (February 18) afternoon.
Earlier, Bangladesh girls were declared joint champions with India as the final match between them was ended 1-1 draw in the schedule 90-minute and was again locked 11–11 goals in the sudden death session of the tiebreaker at the Shaheed Bir Shreshtha Shipahi Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur in the capital on February 8.
SAFF Secretary General Anwarul Haque Helal handed over the trophy to Bangladesh team. AFC and BFF member Mahfuza Ahkter Kiron, who is also chairperson of BFF Women's Football Committee, among others, were also present at the function.
