DHAKA: Sri Lanka won the first Twenty20 match beating Bangladesh by only two runs in Chittagong on Tuesday.  

Bangladesh scored 166 runs for seven after the stipulated over at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.  

Earlier the visitors scored 168 runs for seven in the 20-over match. MDKJ Perera took the highest 64 run.

Shakib, Mashrafe Mortaza and Arafat Sunny each bagged two wickets each.

Bangladesh started the game with two debutants -- Arafat Sunny and Mithun Ali.

Mashrafe Mortaza was given charge of Bangladesh`s T20 team in the absence of Mushfiqur Rahim.
