The IUB Basketball Club has become Champion in the All Age Boys division and Runners-up in the Co-Ed All Age division of the 2THE RIM 3x3 Showdown 2025 tournament. 

Held in Dhaka on July 11, the tournament featured 31 teams across Co-Ed, All Age, and U-18 categories who competed in group stage matches in round-robin format, followed by semifinals and finals.

The IUB team for the All Age Boys division comprised Taifur Uddin (Computer Science and Engineering-CSE), Mohammad Ishrak (Management Information Systems), and Mukcith Khan Ishfak (Finance), Zarif Shabab (Finance), and Raisul Islam Durjoy (Finance). Mukcith was named the Most Valuable Player in their category. 

The team for the Co-Ed All Age division comprised Taifur Uddin (CSE), Ahasan Ameer Khan (CSE), Maha Murshed (CSE), and Nongmaithem Sanjana (Finance). The coaching team was led by Mahmudul Hasan Shawn.

In the U-18 category, Flame Boys won the title, while Mustangs Academy finished as Runners-up. There were other teams from Dhaka University, AIUB, and Daffodil International University.
