The Bangladesh U-17 women’s football team began their international campaign on a high note, defeating Syria 2-0 in their first friendly match held last night at the UAE Football Association Ground 1.
The team will face hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE) today in their second and final friendly as part of their preparation for the upcoming AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers.
Bangladesh is set to participate in the qualification round in Jordan, where they will take on the host nation on October 13 before facing Chinese Taipei on October 17.
As part of their buildup, the Bangladesh squad conducted their second training session under head coach AKM Saiful Bari Titu on Monday night at the UAE Football Association Training Ground 2.
