Bangladesh Beat Kuwait by 203 runs

DHAKA: Tigers beat Kuwait by 203 runs in the quarterfinal of the XVII Asian Games cricket match at Yeonhui Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

Replying to Tigers’ 224 the Kuwait’s innings packed up by 21 runs off 13 overs.

The match started at 11:00am Bangladesh time.

Bangladesh set a 225-run target for Kuwait where Mohammad Mithun was the top scorer with scoring 59 runs of 25 balls.

While Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Haque, Shakib Al Hasan and Sabbir Rahman scored 28, 38, 23 and 35 runs respectively.

In bowling against Kuwait, Bangladesh bowler Arafat Sunny begged 4 wickets while Mahmuddulah Riad took 3 wickets.
 
Earlier in the day, Kuwait won the toss and chose to field.
