BOGRA: Bangladesh national cricket team skipper Mushfiqur Rahim’s post-wedding reception was held at his residence in Matidali area of the district Sadar on Friday night.

Family sources said that around 2,000 guest were invited in the wedding reception party traditionally called ‘Boubhat’.

Bogra Deputy Commissioner Reza Biswas, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Khorshed Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Mahmudul Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education) Sufia Nazim, Police Super Mozammel Haque, Additional Police Super Saifuzzaman Faruqi, among others, attended in the program. 

Additional security measures were taken in the residential area ahead of the wedding party. 

Earlier, Mushfiq tied his knot with bride Jannatul Khifayet Mondi at Ladies’ Club in city on September 24.

Mushfiq got engaged to Mondi on October 26 past year.

Moreover, Mondi is sister-in-law of Bangladesh National Cricket team vice-captain Mahmudullah Riyad.

Mondi is now studying in BBA at Prime University.
