DHAKA: Bangladesh beat Oman by 7-0 in the Men’s Junior AHF (Asian Hockey Federation) Cup at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

Koushik, Milon, Khorshedur Rahman, Skipper Sarwar and Rabbi Salehin scored the goals for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh took the lead with their very first penalty in the 16th minute. Forward Koushik scored the second in the 20th minute.

Forward Milon scored in the 23rd minute while the fourth and the fifth goals were scored by Khorshedur Rahman off penalty corners in the 30th and 35th minute.

Skipper Sarwar added the sixth goal while Rabbi Salehin scored the seventh in the 58th minute of the match.

Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka in their next match.
