Our Shakib Al Hasan is the top ICC ranked all-rounder in all formats, our Salma Khatun is the top ranked all-rounder in women cricket, our little bird Mominul Huq is growing to become Asian Bradman and now a 19 years old frail structured Mustafiz has rocked the cricket world with his bowling mystery.
Bangladesh since end last year has won 10 ODIs on the trot white washing Zimbabwe and Pakistan and on the verge of white washing formidable India.
The cricket world now knows how impregnable new Bangladesh now in the limited over version of the game. Cricket has really put Bangladesh brightly in the world map. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is an ardent follower of the game and is the chief patron. Mushfiqur, Shakib and Mashrafee are like her own son.
The person who inspired the massive turnaround is a person called Mashrafee Bin Murtaza. He leads the team from the front, encourage every member of the team all the time. No international athlete could or will even can maintain skills at top level after 7 major surgeries in the knees. He still runs with intent and bowls his heart out in every match. He has really instilled fearless aggression, positive body language in the team.
Who else could be better mentoring for new talents Taskin, Soumya, Liton, Sabbir and now Mustafiz? World Cricket has witnessed Maskin celebration. How brilliantly Mashrafee created the filial bond for the team. There is nothing else than cricket which is loved across all religion, all ages, all political divide and faith in Bangladesh now. Cricket has really created a revolution, an evolution.
How does it feel that Bangladesh has already won the ODI series against the 2nd top ranked ODI of the world? Very soon Bangladesh will lock horns with top ranked Australia and third ranked South Africa. In terms of soccer it is equivalent to playing Brazil, Argentina, Germany or Spain.
Last year India sent their second grade team which won the series against this Bangladesh team so easily. Even this time also some leading players like Kohli, Dhoni, and Ashwin were reluctant to come. But BCCI insisted. The full strength Indian delegation got shocked and awed by Mashrafee led new Bangladesh. One teenager from remote village of Sathkhira bamboozled, mesmerized them. Rohit , the only player to have scored two double century in ODI could not read him, Virat Kohli , one of the top batsman of the world struggled against him. Virtually all top batsmen of formidable Indian batting line up failed to decode his mystery.
Tamim, Soumya, Liton, Mushfiqur, Shakib, Shabbir, Nasir appeared fearless against top Indian bowlers. Mohit Shrama and Umesh Yadav will remember for a long time the battering they got. This Bangladesh team is bubbling with self-confidence. Mashrafee has developed “Can Do” attitude. 
The success of cricket has inspired the entire nation. We hope now there is be intensive planning for remodeling domestic cricket structure. More and more boys and girls will now commit to cricket. 160 million Bangladeshis will now be positively motivated even in their day to day work inspired by the success of cricket. The success of cricket will also inspire players and athletes in other games and sports.
We hope Bangladesh White Washes India tomorrow. In 15 years India thought hosting Bangladesh will not be a commercial success for them. They did not do it through Bangladesh accounted for their strongest team led by Rahul Darvid back home from World Cup in 2007. If Bangladesh white washes India they will be desperate to host Bangladesh soon to try and take revenge. But then Bangladesh may be reluctant to go. Bangladesh should rather try to set a tour to England as Champions trophy and ICC world cup will be held in England. Let India leak their wounds for a while.
South Africa is coming in July. They have genuine weakness against quality spin. Bangladesh should rely on Jubair, Taizul and Shakib for test. Either Taskin or Al Amin should be made ready for test to go alongside Rubel and Shahid. Bangladesh may not require changing squad for ODI but finding a place for Jubair in ODI team may not be bad. Same strategy can be taken against Australia.
Cricket will continue to inspire the nation .Let this new Bangladesh cricket team pioneer new Bangladesh of 2021 and beyond.
