Dalmiya greets Bangladesh for series win

DHAKA: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Jagmohan Dalmiya congratulated the national cricket team of Bangladesh for the latter’s historic series win against India.

Dalmiya, a former president of International Cricket Council (ICC), has sent a congratulation letter to Bangladesh Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, who is also an ex-president of the international governing body of cricket.

Prior to sending the letter, Dalmiya also presented a pair of gifts - a panjabee for Kamal and a saree for Kamal’s wife, during the second game of three-ODI series between Bangladesh and India.

However, the letter was delivered to Kamal after the end of the series.

Talking to Kamal’s youngest daughter Nafisa Kamal, banglanews could not come to know whatever Dalmiya has written to Kamal in the letter.

Earlier, Kamal presented a panjabee and a saree to Dalmiya when the former went to watch the final match of the 8th Indian Premier League (IPL) in India.
