South Africa win toss, opt to bat

DHAKA: South Africa captain Hashim Amla won the toss and chose to bat against Bangladesh in their second One Day International of the three-match series in Mirpur on Sunday.

The day-night match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 local time (09:00 GMT) at Shere Bangla National Stadium.

Rubel Hossain replaced Jubair Hossain in the Bangladesh XI.

After their eight-wicket win in the first ODI on Friday, South Africa have no change in the XI

For the first time since December 2011, Bangladesh were bowled out for less than 200 when batting first in an ODI. Their batting form was not all that good even in the India series, but they managed to get the job done.

South Africa never give up, and in the second ODI, Bangladesh should be prepared to put up a fight, something they have failed to do in the series so far.
