DHAKA: South Africa started their batting against host Bangladesh in their second One Day International of the three-match series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in city Sunday.

Earlier, Proteas captain Hashim Amla won the toss and chose to bat in the day-night match that started at 3:00pm local time (09:00 GMT).

Rubel Hossain replaced Jubair Hossain in the Bangladesh team.

After the eight-wicket win in the first ODI on Friday, South Africa did not change in the team.

For the first time since December 2011, Bangladesh were bowled out for less than 200 when batting first in an ODI. Their batting form was not all that good even in the India series, but they managed to get the job done.
