DHAKA: South Africa started their batting against host Bangladesh in their second One Day International of the three-match series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in city Sunday.

Mustafizur Rahman sent Q de Kock back to pavilion in the first ball of his third over bowling.

Till filing of the report, the visitors have scored 21 runs for one after the end 5.3 overs.

Earlier, Proteas captain Hashim Amla won the toss and chose to bat in the day-night match that started at 3:00 local time (09:00 GMT).

Rubel Hossain replaced Jubair Hossain in the Bangladesh XI.

After their eight-wicket win in the first ODI on Friday, South Africa have no change in the XI.

For the first time since December 2011, Bangladesh were bowled out for less than 200 when batting first in an ODI. Their batting form was not all that good even in the India series, but they managed to get the job done.
